This lecture video discusses the four educational philosophies of education; namely, Perennialism, Essentialism, Progressivism, and Reconstructionism. Moreover, History and Society as factors that influenced the Philippine K to 12 curriculum were also talked about. Under history, the shift in the Philippine education system was briefly mentioned. While, in the society, the way societal rules and norms were incorporated into the new curriculum was talked through. In a nutshell, this lecture video is just an overview of the entire educational philosophy by Jon Rico Dinglasa.
