Description
2005: CSW was conceptualized by Dr. Elma M. Neyra together with the Extension education and Community Development. Ms. Elvira Angsinco, an active community leader and a veteran in the social work profession who was then based at Bonn, Germany collaborated with Dr. Neyra who laid her desires to start the BSSW program of SCC.
2006: The CSW started to receive its first batch of students. Students were given opportunities to be part of the Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines (JSWAP). The college was also affiliated to different social work national organizations such as Philippine Association of Social Workers (PASWI), National Association of Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI) and Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE).
