Description
The course will discuss a unified view of the soil as a medium for plant growth and as a natural resource; the origin and process involved in the formation and development of the soil; develop skills in solving problems on the physical, chemical, and biological
properties of the soil; discuss the role of plant nutrients to be able to recognize and diagnose soil
problems associated with poor plant growth; and develop the ability to apply the principles of soil management in the control
of soil fertility and soil erosion.
