Technology-Enhanced Flexible Learning
This course is open to all teachers and teaching interns (Early Childhood, Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School, College, Graduate) and trainers (vocational, training centers), librarians, e-learning advocates, specialists, and students from any type of organizations.
Resources and activities in this open online course are curated materials from the open online course Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, a project funded by the Philippine's Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Grant under the K to 12 Transition Program. The said training was conducted from September to December 2021. The training was designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills and competencies on technology-enhanced flexible learning. It includes immersion on "bi-chronous" learning, flipped, and microlearning that they can replicate in their own online teaching delivery.
The course is self-paced, and it consists of 11 modules with at least 4 lessons each. These are a) Educational Philosophy of Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, b) Leadership in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, c) The Synergy of Technology with the Basic Learning Theories, d) Teaching and Learning Framework in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, e) Curricular Transitioning from Face-to-face to Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, f) Tools and Platforms of Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, g) Instructional Design in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, h) Managing Teaching Resources in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, i) . Assessment in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, j) Student Interaction Management in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning, k) Data Privacy and Protection in Technology-enhanced Flexible Learning. Each module contains at least 4 interrelated lessons.
The duration of each module is 6 hours on average. The course is entirely online, and it is asynchronous. There are modules that you need to complete the prerequisites. Thus, your learning journey differs from your interests.
