MICRO2: Implementing Micro-Credentials and Silliman Open Online Courses in Education

This micro-course, a 6-hour engagement time, explores micro-credentialing, its key components, and implementation strategies in education, with a focus on the Philippine context. It also introduces Silliman Open Online Courses (SOOCs), covering their features, enrollment, and integration into curricula. By the end of the course, participants will gain practical skills to design and implement micro-credentialing programs effectively.

MICRO3: The Basics of Micro-learning

This micro-course, a 6-hour engagement, introduces educators and instructional designers to the principles and best practices of micro-learning. It explores how to create concise, engaging, and interactive learning experiences tailored to modern learners. Participants will gain hands-on experience in developing micro-learning resources such as interactive infographics, quizzes, and short instructional videos. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to design effective micro-learning materials that enhance engagement and retention in various educational and training settings.
